O " So Good BBQ Festival May 4 & 5 2024

Brothers Q entered unchartered territory in 2021 reviving an old cook-off called the Rib Rally in Oneonta, we sanctioned the event with the Kansas City Barbacue Society and grew event from a 1 meat rib to a 2 day Backyard Double . We've hosted teams from all over the Southeast and even a team from Costa Rica . We look forward to continuing the growth of this comp and funding our local scholarship fund along the way.. Oscar Bothwell Memorial Scholarship

Oscar Bothwell was a patriotic red blooded American and retired combat Veteran of the Air National Guard, Loved his family, country and BBQ. After his passing we wanted to honor his legacy of giving back to the community and helping his fellow man. A scholarship was established in his honor and managed by the Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce. Fundraisers throughout the year are held to fund this scholarship. The Oscar Bothwell memorial Scholarship is available to any Blount County Senior. Reach out to the chamber or your guidance counselor for more info. Chamber contact info is below.

Smoke on the Water Guntersville 2024

We have partnered with the Blount EMS and Fire, JR Firefighter Association to raise funds for their summer program

Sept 14 2024 we will revive one of the best cookoffs in the south at Guntersville State Park, working along side Brandon Brown of Blow-N-Smoke we are hosting a 55 team backyard comp with all proceeds benefiting the Jr Fire Fighter Association.

We will host a KCBS Certified Barbacue Judge class on Friday Sept 13 from 430 pm to 1000 pm at the campground. Registration link is listed below. ***WHEN REGISTERING INCLUDE NAME, PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, KCBS #, EMAIL ADDRESS. COST IS $125 PER PERSON

Brothers Q is dedicated to putting our Blount County community first. Our Community Outreach program provides a much-needed service for those needing to raise funds for their civic organization. BSA Troop 4160 allowed us to help raise money via a Boston Butt, Rib and Bologna sale for Iron Bowl weekend. Cooked over 140 whole cuts of meat that night.
